We aim to promote the autonomy of women by enhancing their economic activities and organizing their own associative environment where they can share experiences, improve self-esteem, and enhance their quality of life. In recent years, it is the women who have demonstrated leadership in their communities, simultaneously empowering themselves, acquiring skills, and influencing other aspects of community life, such as sexual and reproductive rights and adult education.

GOALS
- Encouraging women to play a leading role in community political life.
- Promoting processes of transformation to actively involve rural women in decision-making spaces at the local, national, and international levels.
- Improving the quality of life, economic development, and empowerment of rural women as a social group.
We create associative spaces for women based on their cultural characteristics. The goal is to reclaim their own spaces, strengthen them as social and political entities for economic autonomy, and enable them to participate in decision-making processes with state, non-state, and community actors, generating public policies.
We facilitate spaces for meetings, training, awareness, and empowerment to prevent and eradicate all forms of violence against women, involving various government sectors, international cooperation, and the private sector.
We highlight the work of rural women and their transformative capacity through the use of technologies.
We establish and participate in networks to influence public policies with an intersectional vision. Thus, Fundación Gran Chaco is part of the Women20 delegation, a G20 working group on the economic empowerment of women. We participate in the Women and Gender Constituency, the official civil society group on gender and climate change at COP, and are part of the Civil Society Advisory Council of UN Women. As an organization, we focus on training state and non-state actors in territorial approach methodology, intersectionality, gender, and climate change.
